    ^^ That was about 3 degrees of @#$# up. Not as bad as a broken bone, but pretty odd. Now it looks like I've got some huge ring worm/rash thing going on.     Took a nice ride Sunday with my wife and daughter to Poma's, using mostly the dedicated lane on Friars and the Old Sea World Drive bikepath/OB bike path. Lots of fun. We took the 3 speeds - my wife's Raleigh needed a little cleaning up, but came out great. Thom knows more than I do about old bikes, but I would just suggest to people to put some new tires on these old 650A/26x1 3/8 wheels - Col de la Vies are plush and the creme Delta Cruisers look cool and are quite tough like any Schwalbe would be. Get out there!

    nice. the delta cruisers make any classic bike look better. we need to find you the original pump for yours to really finish the look. old worn out waxed canvas bags would rad too.

    Yea - if you ever see any old bags, let me know. I'm not to fond of the faux leather vinyl, but they were cheap and are doing the trick for now. I have the original pump - its broke. I forgot to add it for the photo!

    haha, most those pumps are broken. they're just for show now.

    there was a company making nice ages waxed canvas bags apparently they had money troubles. they are still trying to make it happen though. they are called Frost River. i've been trying to carry their bags for over a year now with no luck. i think they need start of money or something like that.

    Once I knock out some panniers for myself, I'm hoping to make and sell them through VC. I want the look of Nigel Smythe, and with the addition of the dryer and some tennis shoes, they'll look old in no time!

    Really, traffic doesn't bother me. But I love the mornings downtown where the city is waking up and there is almost no one around.
