I rode through here two days ago, stopped pretty much exactly where you stopped, and it struck me that this would be a great location for a tag: Good one!

Sorry brother, I was on my way home and I was sure I would get bruced, but figured I'd give it a try anyway -- just a case of good timing. Next tag will hopefully go up before tomorrow morning's commute.

I guess we're supposed to measure the length of the shadows cast by the pergola at 5:25 on this date at this latitude and extrapolate from the fact that there's only one surfboard rack visible on any of the cars... The yellow metal height guards in the background and the expansion joints in the concrete tell me it's on the top of a multi-story parking structure.

Not having been to the locale, I will refer the final call to Ted as the tag owner: At the very least, it would seem that you would need to capture the correct side of the building / exterior wall (which it seems like you probably have).

    Ted?

PS! I always try to bring a printout of the tag image so that my claim photo mimics it as far as possible.

Checked the boards for the first time in a while right before tonight's bicycle maintenance class, and hoped no one would grab it in that short time.
    Eeeexcellent.
Next one will likely go up tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, at which point the location of the above photo will be revealed.
Since my last one way back when was in front of some cool graffiti, mine will always be in front of favorite outdoor artwork.

    Yup.

From Ulrich, make the right on Friars and then the first left into the mall parking lot. Make a left at the "T" and then a right to go behind Bloomingdales. Take Avenida Del Rio around the back of the mall and make a left. Make a right at the light and then a left on Hotel Cirlce.

    Like this:

I had no idea about the grafitti tag: Congrats, Thom - how did you go about finding it? I am always curious about what steps people go through in order to locate a tag they were unfamiliar with initially.
  1.
I google mapped record stores in the area surrounding downtown, then checked out street view for like 8 of 'em before I gave up...

    FML.

I tried SO hard for this one. I was almost home from being dropped off after seeing Rush. Thought I'd check the BikeORama thread and I could get the catch on the way home. AWESOME!

Well, My phone was almost dead, and the cheap hotel, trying to save a buck, turned off their "famous" f*cking sign for the night... WTF?

Amyway, here's what I got. I was there, at the tag, and I got what I could.
