Can't agree there, bro. Precisely the type of crap riding that put it in drivers' head that all cyclists are assholes that deserve getting run over. The type of riding that should be condemned rather than glorified.

A-holes, all of 'em. Rent your own private course and have your own friends run you over. Leave the rest of us out of it.

Nah, I don't think you ride like that. :o) I hate it that there are enough folks that ride like that to make it a subculture, though. That subculture needs to go away to a quiet death. :oP

From the North County Film Club:

"Come join us This Sunday, August 23rd, for a special screening of the international farce GIRL ON A BICYCLE at the Digiplex Mission Marketplace in Oceanside.

Having just proposed to his stewardess girlfriend, Paolo, a happy go lucky tour bus driver, starts feeling a bit constrained by the prospect of marriage. Taking horrible advice from a colleague at work, Paola flirts with an attractive single mother who he sees everyday on the way to work. Comic mayhem follows when the results of this seduction go awry, bestowing the flustered driver with unwanted parental responsibilities and a suspicious fiance who may be facing temptations of her own. Set on the beautiful streets of Paris. GIRL ON A BICYCLE is a breezy break for a Sunday afternoon. We look forward to seeing you there. "

I have not seen the movie and it received some bad reviews.

Girl on a Bicycle is available on Netflix. I thought it was cute (that is if you like romantic comedies). It is rated R for nudity. But hey, this is a foreign movie set in Paris.

Hundred Foot Journey is on theaters now. Set in a small mountain town in France. There were several urban/town biking scenes but it is really about passion for food, culture, and the simple life.

Chris Froome, 2013 TdF Winner. Made in Kenya. Toward the end of this video he was almost in tears because of negative media for leading the TdF.

Oakley present The Ride, a special four-part documentary series commemorating the 100th edition of The Tour de France. The programme -- produced in collaboration with Eurosport TV -- follows two amateur cyclists as they attempt to conquer one of the iconic Tour de France stages of Mont Ventoux and Alpe-d'Huez.

Along the way the cyclists were joined by legendary riders and on-air Eurosport consultants Sean Kelly and Richard Virenque alongside a favourite for this year's Maillot Jaune and a two-time Tour stage winner.

Join the athletes as they face this incredible challenge. We'll be releasing clips from The Ride on Oakley.com throughout the Tour de France 2013.

You'll find something in common in past and the present. The evolution of media technology is amazing to bring bicycle racing to the masses.
